Sorry I haven't been posting a lot y'all. Like I said, big things in the works. That, and my band has been playing a TON of shows this month and we're recording our first album this week so my time is scarce. Don't worry, I'm still truckin' on BB drawings!

Second: NEW COMIC-ANIMATION AVAILABLE HERE!

Note: It's in the Animation section of the site because it's an animation experiment I've been meaning to test out. If you guys like it, I can do more like it. So basically it's an interactive Flash comic book with animation loops to add action to the story. Unzip the folder as usual, then open the HTML file in your favorite browser (I prefer Chrome) and then use the RIGHT and LEFT arrow keys to navigate forward and backward through the story. THERE IS AUDIO, so be prepared for that.

I just got word from my merchant service that my account has been suspended because I don't make enough money through them. I'm working with them to try and get this resolved but until that point you guys will not be able to buy comics from ballbustingcartoons.com.

EDIT: Okay, if you guys need comics, I've added them all to the Images4Sale site. I've had to boost their cost to match the amount I4S steals, I mean takes from me, but it's our only option until I hear back from my other merchant service. Fuck my life.

Well I have some kind of awful throat infection (I hope it's not strep) and I had to stay home from work today. In a sense that's a good thing, since I had time to draw this request by Johnny C.! He requests:

Also, I just had to post these photos I found online awhile ago of blogger Hanneli Mustaparta attending the Miu Miu show. I don't know what that is, but look what she wore!!!

Seriously, this girl doesn't know it, but she is officially my favorite person on the internet. Sigh. I have a new crush. The socks were sewn by her boyfriend's mom. Isn't that adorable!

I know she didn't kick any balls while wearing those, but a boy can dream. Geez, baby blue is even one of my favorite colors for socks! AAAAH!!!

Well hello True Believers, didja miss me? ;)

Okay, first, I worked 98 hours last week on this ridiculous project and it's still not done.

Don't worry, I'll be back in full swing soon enough. I am going to spend some time with my girlfriend, friends, family and band first though since I've been neglecting them all terribly.

As far as the contest goes, I am only going to work through all the requests I got on that last contest post, so no requests in comments will be added until all those are done. So just comment on the art or how much you're enjoying life. I haven't heard from most of you, so let me know how you guys are doing. I hope I didn't miss too much.

Okay, I'm really sorry about two posts in a row without a drawing, but I have big and interesting news, and a funny coincidence.

First off, the news. A friend recently told me to look up the search word ballbusting in google. To get accurate google results I used Internet Explorer, which I never ever use and has no cookies, cached items or google searches in it whatsoever. He asked me what page I saw first. You guessed it kids, THIS BLOG!! Number ONE site for the search term BALLBUSTING!!

I tried it in Firefox and I was number 2, and I tried it in Chrome and I was number 3. Huge props to Kickedinthegroin.ning and Kramtoad for being top runners no matter what browser I used.

First off, I have to say I was shocked. Utterly shocked. I guess drawing free cartoons of chicks busting balls for 8 years (intermittently I grant you) finally did something. I have all of you guys to thank of course. Thank you for visiting my little corner of the internet for so long. Thank you for keeping me afloat as jobs and clients have come and gone over the years. Thank you for helping me improve (hopefully) as an artist and as an entrepreneur, and thank you for all the support through the years. It's enough to make a guy's heart swell with a sense of accomplishment and brotherhood.

The funny coincidence came when I googled the term Knave. This photo was one of the first ones that came up:

Hi guys, sorry no cartoon today I am way too busy. This project for work is absolutely killer. It has basically consumed my entire life at this point because of its completely unreasonable and unrealistic deadline. I get up early, get into the office and work an 8-10 hour day, then I come home, try to make dinner (if I have time) and continue working on the project from home until about 2am, at which point I go to sleep and do it all again. I don't want to sound like I'm complaining, I get to work with some really cutting edge technology for this gig and it's certainly stretching my abilities and teaching me new things (I might make a BB video game with all the new stuff I've learned) but it has left me no personal time. I just wanted to let you all know I haven't disappeared, and I will be back and drawing as soon as this thing is over.

Also, thank you all so much for your kind words and e-mails. It means a lot to me that I'm in your thoughts :)

I'll keep you all updated again soon. Hopefully with a drawing.

OKAY! ON TO BUSINESS! The contest as we have been doing it, is changing. I have gotten enough complaints and suggestions that we're going to try something different.

So, we're gonna do this and see if it works. As usual you should all comment on the POSTEROUS blog, with a BRIEF DESCRIPTION of what you want to see. Please, only comment once with a request guys. Let's not abuse this shall we? Then, when I am ready, I will see how many requests I got, and use a simple random number generator to choose the winner. It'll be like pulling a name out of a hat basically.

We'll see how this works. If anyone has a better idea, I am very open to suggestions so please do feel free to comment and offer your thoughts.
